why is it i can never find threads ive posted on ?

is there a problem with space here or something?

i can never find where i left off, is this a simple case of over moderating or is there a space issue
or is it someone tidying up threads and dumping posts elsewhere....

mine got moved too, from the merthyr topic to the greenlane discussion topic.

don't worry extreme it's not just you, these moderators are a knightmare they take topics and move posts all over the place to confuse us.

if you don't know what your doing then leave it alone

no if you see a post mark monday off road. and wana talk about green laning start a new topic dont hijack other topics otherwise your posts will get moved

and as for movin post allover the place thats not true the ammount of times topics have been split over the last 2years i can count on 1 hand

if we deem it fit to split a topic it will be done no questions

ur lucky it was split not everything off topic deleted!

if ur post was on topic and was moved blame mizzed he done it

Tried to split just the offtopic posts but suspect i may have moved one or two others too.

Moral of the story, in threads where people are trying to organise a day out for others keep the thread on topic and dont derail it, posts will be moved or deleted.

so if i start a thread saying i want to do a meet on sunday, but people join in and say they prefer monday, and i agree monday would be better for everyone.
so now i have a post that is off topic from then on ?


or i reply to a thread saying i cant go on monday cos something is broken or my tyres are worn out, and someone says hey ive got a part or some tyres and we chat about it. when i come back to discuss it thank them

if u put a post on saying u were doing a day out on Saturday and someone else says I'm running a day on Sunday that would b off topic as it nothing to do with Ur off road day BUT if someone said i cant make sat but i can do Sunday any chance in changing it the that is on topic as its a post to u about Ur off road day

i agree with mizzed, we should try to keep things on topic, then posts won't need to be moved.

no . sorry i was just finding my feet in this forum seeing how it all works , ok might have looked a bit fussy/ picky.

but honest just learning how things work, after all you would hate me to not be able to understand it and get all confused and not bother coming any more ...ay

evey forum is different , as you know. the one i moderate. has very little interference from the mods, we let all the rows and stuff go on and everything. very entertaining . last week i even had to moderate a moderator. now that was funny.

but the best thing of all is 99% of the rows end in becoming really good friends.


oh and we never delete nothing. well unless we are asked to by the poster or its really nasty
