hi all wound up my front torsion bars today and i wound em up all the way by mistake Embarassed and thay wont wind back down iv done the thread in i think on the bolt Question do any one no whot happens when you leave em wound up and drive on em thear is still movement in front end .will some think snap or bust if i leave it Question the front is higher than the back now so will have to lift the back more now lol scratch

u wont get any twist at all,and it will b a horible ride,screw another nut on 2 it ,so it meets the other nut,then weld the 2 nuts 2gether so the nut u put on will b on the good part of the thred ,which will unsrew a pull the other nut off,job dun Smile

or if it the tipe where the bolt screws up thro a big round dish nut,well still do the same screw a nut down on the thred,then weld the nut 2 that funny shaped nut,then wen u unscrew it it will push the bolt out

thant you all for your help but now iv driven it a bit it seems to have droped down now and drives ok so dont need to lower it so the nut can stay fooked for now lol .chris thanks for the offer m8 and you no wear i am if you need help i went on elite for some advise on whot id done to the torsion bars some one i know said thay was good to ask. well might have well been talking to a wall stay well away. knobs
