| my 300 tdi disco the battery is going flat over nite i no battery is good it was on my frontera it started disco yesterday but got home from work and was turning over slow im going to put isolater switch on tomozz just so i can use it whot could be draning it over nite then googled it but not mutch help no interia lights on any ideas guys | |

| I had the same prob with my kia . But then found out the wife was using the 12V battery for her sex toys the bich lol | |

| Check the alternator output, mine did the same, it was the alternator on its way out. It wasn't putting enough charge back into the battery.

this cuold bed the problem but it could also me down to battery capacity which can mean the battery cant turn the stsrt for to long need a drop test for this one | |

| well the battery was starting it when i went to pick it up and when i got home the boy said it was doing it when he had it go flat over nite will check alternator saterday down my m8s i think some thing is draning it will jump start it 2mozz take it for a goon run disconecy battery leave it all 24 hrs and try it if it starts not battery just thout some one esl might have had same problem and might have bin a common thing on disco | |

the battery may be the problem the nights are geting cold you can have a battery woke fine in the sumere but the cold can cause it to die overe night thats why its woth drop test | |

| Ok. Battery fine. Full charge. Took. Bat leads off last nite. Put back on. To day woulnd start. Turning over. A bit slow. Put jump lead. On. Started sreat away. Drove. It. Good run. Turnd off. Re started fine. Left it 10 min wouldn't start. Just turning over lift it 2mis. Started. Drove. 15 miles. Turd off wouldn't start. Kept trying. No go. Left it. A 60 seconds tryd it started fine. Any ideas boys doing my head in now. Don't even think. It is draning bat now. This starting falt. Just might be. Doing in morning. More | |

| Has the 300 tdi got. Cam and crank sencers. And does the immobilizer shut fual off or the starter. | |

| Checl the earths and starter wires/connections are clean and good. They may "look" fine but could be loose or corroded. Immobiliser etc......................NO IDEA!! Sorry. | |

| baz if its the imobaliser it stops the pump and starter bypass them if you need help give me a p.m i did it on my old disco what year is it cos the edc pumps are a right pain to get in to the solinoyd | |
