| Evening chaps and chapettes . Have just acquired 2x v8 engines on carbs. 90 currently has a 2.5 non turbo diesel engine in it, and an LT77 box. Will the new engine drop straight onto that box? (The engines are out of a 110) the other question I have is... is LT77 geared high enough for a V8, or am I gonna need to shop around for another box too? Fankoooo!!! P.s.... anybody wanna buy a V8? As I have one spare! | |

| Hi it will drop on box but you will need to move mountings and get v8 radiator and the manifolds and down pipes hope that helps | |

| you would be better off with the LT85 Santana gearbox the 77 box is a weaker box for V8 .. prob need to move the engine mount brackets forward change exhaust and put a petrol pump inline .. hope that helps | |

| Yeah that was my next question... whether to run the petrol thru the existing diesel filter setup, or change it for something else... and what exactly to change it to??? Gonna have a straight through exhaust I think Answers on a postcard lol | |

| All you need is a fuel line from the tank to the carbs and an electric pump in line. Paddocks sell them for about £40
Get rid of the diesel fuel filter or you'll just have problems, a V8 needs fuel not a drip feed! Lol | |
