Local residents complaining, apparently there was a council order to stop off road use on toms 2 years ago? Now local mp is saying there should be stronger laws to close down toms, and thus all off road /4x4 routes given half an excuse.
we get the same crap in motocross.

wait till they need help from 4x4'ers they ok then, then a few weeks later they s++t on you again, why cant they let us get on with our hobbies

not having been to toms farm, does the land run past or near "public" peoples houses?

I thaught toms was 600 acres, should be enough there to avoid coming near the arse holes who retire to wales and demand we shut up.

he owns loadsa land like 2 valleys or something, but i think a couple of people have been killed up there,
they told him to shut up shop there and he just carried on as normal

itv wales 11.40 "sharp end" more on toms farm / anti 4x4 apparently.

just watched it, that old guy saying they dont feel safe in there own home, Y people go to off road not break in to peoples homes,
this country is trying not to upset anyone, why dont they just let us do our legal stuff and spend more time arresting pervs and drug dealers and thing that will help the country,

The guy complaining th 4x4 have killed the fish in the river? I am going to complain about him fishing, its cruel to the fish (note, one time carp angler so have no problem with man doing what he likes plus I saw "Fish" in concert last night in pontadawe, the fish are alive and well and the concert was outstanding)

The old fart waiting to be attacked at night, those people are the ones they let roam from open prisons not 4x4 owners enjoying their weekend free time after a hard weeks work.

With our current financial woes you would hope people could spend their time coming up with better items for the news.

they done the same with a lot of motor cross tracks.then were did they go ,up the nearest mountain.they restrict access without thinking things through.

why dont we try and get a petition open and forward it to all clubs,
then send it to itv or up to toms farm, dont no if it will work but how else can we help keep places like these open.

Well, i would like to visit toms far and may do so next wednesday as I may be in rhayader anyway.

I would like to have a look round and see what the antis have on toms before preparing my defence. What worries me is that once they close one, others will be open top attack!

this all about need, we need to use the facility and the locals don't want us too, probably because of the minority who abuse the facility, we all see it but when do we stand up and complain about our colleagues or educate them to proper green laning, we have a responsilbilty to protect our chosen sport, pay n plays are great we do as we please but in the public eye we need to be squeaky clean

this is more about visible action we can offer the world but if people don't know it, it's empty

No suprise - powys are the same, want them all closed..

We have asked numerous times for a list of the legal b.o.a.t's from the local ROW Officer and have been ignored..

you do know tom's past? mistreatment of animals, harbouring criminals who stole from waltons electics and selwins motorbike shop in Rhayader. I think the idea of toms fram is fine, its just him. I am born and bread in Llandrindod and powys cc are uesless when it come to anything what so ever.

The request of a list of boats etc will be ignored , ive been hunting lanes and legal rights of way for nearly a decade and it is like getting blood from a stone , to find the legality of even one lane u need first to explain where it is , then they fob u off , then they say they have no record , so then u give them unmistakeable grid refs then they say they cant find it ? ( cant read a map or use grid reffs ) and these people are incharge if nothing but the rights of way !! rights of way of the public who funnily enough contribute to their wages ?,

dont be disheartened just need to be realistic , there is not a single person out there who can give you this info regarding the legal status of all lanes , Boats , restricted b,Ways etc , as they are constantly changing

the best u can do is get registered with either crag , wich would b a good idea for the club todo , get mamory map , wayfinder info is available free , and in conjunction with all of this info which costs nothing .

Armed with this info all u need then to do is phone the respective authority and ask the row officer for the status of the said lane ... oh and masses of time
