the point is anyone can buy a landy and get some off the shelf goodies.... the real work is making your own out of something else

you gotta make your own bits coz no company wants to put there name to truck other than landies and coz landies are a better truck they sell more,

I build all my own trucks to my own spec using the best bits made by land rover and otheres or designed and made by myself when LR stuff is no good.

Where's the skill in bolting on off the shelf parts, any old monkey can do that

you can't beat self engineered parts.

rob there are more parts for landie's because there common, it's nice to have something a bit different

Landrovers are good, but I like different as well.......thats why i've got a cherokee jeep. Downside is very few aftermarket parts and what you can get cost 4 times as much as l/r bits..........ho hum
