| bought it last year as a fixer-upper couple of out riggers needed welding bulkhead had gone in usual places and the old 2.5 TD was low on power and burning oil. I was just going to patch it up to get through the next mot but decided to try and repair it properly so ai sourced a second hand bulkhead, some outriggers and a few other bits from newbury auto jumble and a 200Tdi from a disco off Rob and Carl.
Just like all the best renovation stories, the more I stripped it the more I found needed doing and what with work,children,holidays and a frantic sex life (that and the small matter of running out of money) it is taking me a little longer than antisipated, however the welding is done, the bulkhead has been painted and waxoiled and the engine is ready to go in so-------------------watch this space. | |
