I've run BFG mud tyre tread pattern ones on my defender and my current disco.
Jockers runs the same (kingpin M/T's) we both find them good all round.
And they last, even on road.
The kingpin M/T's are now about 50-60 each. Good tyres allround I reckon.
Simex or boggers etc. are great, but pricey especially if you tear one open on a rock or something.

I hear the new pattern bfg mts are good, boggers are supposed to be shite on a side slope, best tyre I ever ran were grizzly claws, had them on my hilux and the were a brilliant all round tyre, pretty cheap too I think.
