strata florida 18/ 12 /11 green lane day out i will be looking for a nuther lane to do as well on the day not to far from the strata this will be all day i would advise all 4x4 to have a snorkel as water levels can be high i think thear are 12 river crossings std 4x4s at own risk it could be 2ft deep or over the bonet deep see how mutch rain we have few days befor this is a very good lane one of the best for a long time thay have been trying to close it becouse of 4x4 leaveing the lane and playing in the river and mud runs along side it please put you name down asap we might limit numbers on this one see how we go ill put meeting place and times when i get some names down see wear we all comeing from will be a early start would all so say a full tank of fual v8s may be two lol that if you dont drown lol apart from the water its an esayish lane rock base some large rocks about bit more hard going than the last lanes we did if youd like more in fo just ask . Ps bonkas members only. ps as long as thear is a admin member out that day you can join bonkas on the day

we are in aswell one of my favorit lanes did it in the summer with a standard fortrack his only mod was general grabbers. but alot less water in the summer . and you won't see any walkers on the lane

when that lil girl got killed in deep water thay done a lot of work to drop the water levels.

the jimmy will be fine . this lane was done by a guy driving a ford mk3 cortina

should be like i said see how mutch rain we have and no snorkel is own risk but i havent bin thear in two years and those who have say it not like it was we just have to see any river crossing should be done with a snorkell for peace ov mind and strata florida has a habit of geting deep with in a few hours

sorry Baz .just checked back on some youtube vid's and it dose get very deep this time of year even over bonnet of a disco so a standard jimmy will struggle . couldn't find much about the poor girl that died just that the disco rolled and the driver was sent to prison

From what I've seen the work they've done is to lower the water levels on the pools of water on the lane and not the river crossings,they used to be about 3 foot deep this time of year but now only 1 foot. I've done the lane in my disco 300tdi (no snorkel) around this time of year with no probs and in the V8!

It all boils down to what it's like on the day and the only way you're gonna find out is to go and see. If it is too bad all is not lost as there's a good lane in brechfa which you can do on your way back from strata,if your heading towards Carmarthen.

all in all it's one of the best lanes I've done no matter what weather,shame I have to work otherwise I'd be joining you all,enjoy!

Hi all will get a mince pie for christmas from misurf and the misus just let us know who will be commin

we will be meeting in lampeter in tesco on the a482 9.30 to 10.00 we will leave at 10 only 20 mins from thear to the lane if you all would like to post on hear to meet up with other ppl going who live near you or on way and travel up in smaller groups thats cool i will be meeting peter and rodger up thear way any one welcome going that way to join us and be going past brecon then a40 llandovery then a482 im still sorting anuther lane to do as well will post it on soon.
