tyre fitter

Hi all. Anyone know of a tyre fitter who's able to fit muds in the caerphilly/ cardiff ish area?

thanks tony but where he got his done is a no go at the moment as they're too busy. For anyone who needs a place in the future, a place called T tyres up Ystrad does them for £10-£15 a tyre. Duno how good they are but will find out tomorrow!

Lol can't argue with that. Most people I've rung have quoted £120 so if it's £40 and stops me stressing then I'm happy to be honest

try Caerphilly MOT Centre 08458 393 227 my mate use to work there and done my 33(31and a bit really) 12.5s he's not there now but they might be able to help?

dont worry about fiting them you lifted it yet thay will fit em and you wont drive off lol

went for the insa turbo's which I know are a little under 31inch and, putting um next to the car they do fit in the arches so reckon they'll be fine though will rub a bit. Might look at lifting the front cause it should be easy but dont really see the point lifting the back if I can avoid it

ok but i did warn you it wont work you will have all sorts ov probs if you dont lift it just doing front will make back worse it will sit lower at back and rub sick i had a comersual fourtrak witch didnt have all the plastk arches you got and 235 75 15 30 inch tall rubbed with a 2ich lift yours will be worse but please prove me wrong if you think it be ok . i think thay will rub so bad you will rip things off front bumper will be first im not try to sound a prick just dont want you to fuck your jeep up i no how mutch you need it day to day if it snows you fecked if you realy dont want to lift it then should have got 215 80 15 muds give you plenty of grip and no need to lift i no thay dont fit your alloy wheel but you could have got std steal wheels to go on suzuki wheels fit to and sold alloy wheels and tyres for about 100 pounds easy

Lol nah you dont sound like a prick, I appreciate the advice I really think they might be fine though, the ones I've got on atm work out at 29.5inches and are just as wide because mine is the independent with fat boy arches/ tyres which are slightly different to the non independent and leaf spring models. So new ones are only about an inch bigger because they measure at 30.5. I don't really want to go into lifting because the rear kit is about £160 and the car will be going in 6 months lol so not worth it. Thanks for the advice though, if they dont fit you can be the first to say I told you so I'm going to get them to do one and see how it looks before they do them all and if they dont fit ok i wont do it so truck wont get damaged

my mate got a fourtak with 2" lift with 31 and thay rub a bit not much but thay rub lol

well I'm running 255/75/15 now and I know the new ones aren't a true 31 inch, more like 30, so the difference is really negligable no?? If I get much else I'm gona end up with smaller than the 29.5 I've got now lol. Think it's just gona be a fingers crossed and prey moment lol

this is what I'm thinking and hoping because it's only 1 inch max difference really. I know they're going to rub but hopefully not to real excess. I think my model is slightly different to the one baz had so may just get away with it where as he had big problems. Fingers crossed anyway!

pm,d you k my old fourtaks taller than your one its the arches that will give you greff thay come down low one ov mine was an indy with steel arches molded on to the body part ov wing thay rubed and on front bumper fuck it try em can all ways take em off but still fink you have bother with em sorry

i just dont want to see you stuck i no you need 4x4 evry day try em in it if you got 29 on it now and new ones are 30 thay may be ok might have to trim a bit ov plastik hear an thear but be fine on road offroad will be worse for rubing all tyres are difrent size to what thay say on the side some 31s are biger diffrent paten etc some are smaller should have seen pitbulls face when my jimny was next to his disco and my 31s was the same size as his 33s thats 2inch difrent didnt no you had all ready got em trying to save you cash if thay didnt fit but you got em so try one on and see most prob be fine on the road better to rub a bit then to drive round on the balds ones you got on lol rubing is better than points lol good luck

they fit!!! slightly rubbing on the back of the front arch when on full lock but nothing major. May cut away some of the arch for off roading but on road they seem fine.

pitbull: no baz wasn't wrong, he said that at the very least they'll rub on full lock.....which they do. And they are going to need some cutting back on the arches for off road. Baz did nothing but give me advice which I appreciated and it's not nice to act like a 5year old girl bully!!! I duno why they fit on mine and didnt on Baz's....couldve been anything from different arches to newer suspension etc.....I'm just happy that they're doable. Now, play nice!!

By the way, the guys at t-tyres were stars if anyone needs muds fitted in that area I'd recommend them. Plus they only charged £20 for the 4....win
