hiya all
after getting my 52 Plate TD5 GS i started to think about joining a 4X4 club,so yours truely phil c sent me your web site and here i am

at the club that me and phil are members,my nick name at the mow is bob the farmer,co's of the 4X4 i got lol

well happy with my disco,but unlike you all,i dont intend to go off roading like you all do,im more your layedback off roader,a few bankings,foot deep of water and thats me happy.

resson i got my disco is,we marshal on all sorts of rallys,but most of the time we are in the forests.
so when you have had over 200+ cars passing you and you are 10 miles from the finish,there is alot of stones/rocks ready and waiting for you and your car,so that is why.

i could of gone for the vauxhall rubbish and stayed with vauxhall as i have done over the last 15 years,5 x cavaliers,1 vectra,drove nothing than vauxhalls,but after thinking for a very short time,it had to be the landrover discovery TD5.

been wanting one for well over 5 years and after dipping into my savings and what a dip it was i was finaly sitting in a TD5

its a td5 stuped people like tony call them tdi5's sorry tony its true if u think about it there both correct as its a Turbo Diesel Intercooled 5 cylinder but land rover call them td5s
