| i been sorting out range rover for weekend, when i was cleaning plugs when 1 was a right t@@t to get out, tried putting it baack in but only gos half way, think head theads are crossed, any way round this apart from swapping heads

| As far as i'm aware no, sorry, had similar problem with one of my bikes years ago. We tried re-tapping the thread but too much swarf goes into the cylinder. Swapping heads is probably the safest answer. Sorry its not good news..............unless someone else knows better. Hopefully i'm wrong At least you'll know the head gaskets are ok!! | |

| i got a james and lee from j+k mot centre coming today with a helicoil, they said that will do it, it cut new threads | |

| Had to do the same to mine,its normally the passenger side rear plug cos its a twat to get to so people don't change it and then when you take it out it brings the threads with it | |
