death wobble

right as sum may know i got a wobble over 40mph, its like towing a snaking caravan, any1 with any ideas of what it could be, i know its not tyres now,

wheel bearings m8 i had the same thing 2day coming back home my back bearing is shot on back passenger side or could be bushes on your shock or armes

check psi and the nuts and all rubers on the back m8

it put poo up me, i dropped psi to 28 from 41, i know i got a front bearing gone,

Check ALL your bushes and steering joints. Have you put a lift kit on? There may be something loose or damaged around the suspension/steering arms/joints etc. Check your props too, a bad UJ or in-balanced prop may be affecting the axle, highly unlikely but worth checking.
I know when I fitted a lift too an SJ it wobbled like a B***H!! The steering was horrendous, had a slight high speed (50mph, high speed for a defender) wobble in my 110 when I lifted that.

Tyre damage? or wheel balance?

it only since new rear tyres, if you look at a caravn snaking it feels like its doing that, me and roger did notice it down a inch on drivers front on way home yesturday

think i found problem, moved steering wheel left to right there was a knocking, jacked up nsf no knocking, bearing, track rods, all got loads of movment,

That's a problem M8

sorted all you need to do is fix it now ,, dont go shearing any nuts off

more fixs to this, swivel pins preload, out by 7lb each side, only down to 1 thick shim now, steering arm is like lewie spencer, bent as hell
