| Ask Nilo, I think he did EFI to carbs. As for heads, not sure. | |

| I think heads will swap as the blocks are the same on 3.5 and 3.9,as for the carbs you'll need the inlet manifold as well also the efi fuel pump will have to be changed as its a high pressure one and will be no good with the carbs.( paddocks do the right one for about £50 ) | |

| heads fit can either change carb inlet manifold or put the efi inlet manifold on .. efi supposed to be better as long as u got everything put that on ,, you will notice a massive difference with the 3.9 heads on . | |

Will have a look for some 3.9 heads and go from there If you can't get any 3.9 heads try and get a pair of rover SD1 3.5 ones as they were modified from the factory and give lots more grunt. If its more power you're after it depends on what 3.5 you've got because there are lots of different versions, for instance if its from an early disco or 90 it will be a low compression engine (8.13:1) and about 90 bhp and absolute crap! or if its out of a rover SD1 like mine in the series it'll have a 9.35:1 compression ratio and about 160bhp as standard and go like a rocket! ill shut up now with the petrolhead talk | |
