300tdi smoking

my 300tdi fitted in my 110 smokes and misfires a bit on start up in the morning smokes blue so its burning oil,its using oil but i have covered over 500 miles in the last month and i think my rocker covers shagged

its not using water and theres no back pressure when i take the oil cap off think that rules out pistons so thinking valve stems worn anyone else had this issue?

turn pump down or up, under fuel over over fuelling, mine was under fuelling

Change the fuel filter as well 😜

will do,the smoke clears when running,but if you turn it off and re-start the engine you get a puff of black smoke
