Hi there,

I'm Pete from Methyr Tydfil, a friend at work recommended you, as i'm looking for a 4x4 club to join to get the most out of my Landy with like minded people.

I bought my 1994 Land Rover Discovery 300TDI in Feb, and after a hellish month of welding and replacing half knackered parts(I wish someone had told me about disco boot pans before I dived in the deep end), finally got her past an MOT, retired my Cavalier and have never looked back since.

I've been offroading the Disco as much as possible, within reason given it was pretty much standard apart from an aprox 1 3/4 inch lift, and have been steadily adding more to it. Now have diff guards, steering guard, safari snorkel, light rail with 6 hella 55w lamps, and have a 5ton winch that I'm hoping to fit next week.

Hopefully once the disco is finally up to scratch, I'd like to get into a lot more offroading to the extent that many members from this club are, some of those youtube vids are quite crazy

I wouldnt recommend it, I removed the old one with a reciprocating saw, and took all the brake lines out

maybe not il pay for it to be done, lol
